Built in the 16th century by Jean Dongui, a wealthy potter from Roanne, the Château d'Origny in Ouches has survived the centuries while retaining its splendour.
In turn an aristocratic residence, a place of literary inspiration and a retirement home, it was given a new lease of life in 2007 thanks to Melinda and Werner de Clippel. Having fallen in love with the site, they breathed new life into this historic building by infusing it with their passion for hospitality, gastronomy and the art of living.
